This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this website, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Quick Business Solutions L.L.C-FZ (“QBS”, “we”, “us”) is a free zone company registered in the United Arab Emirates. We decide why and how the information described here is used, which makes us its controller under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the PDPL) and, for visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR.
You can reach us at info@qbsadvisory.com, or through the enquiry form on our contact page.
What we collect
We collect what you choose to send us, and the minimum our hosting and security providers need to keep the site working.
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, service interest, message, the consent you give, and your phone number if you choose to add one.
- Security check: Cloudflare Turnstile reads technical signals from your browser to confirm you are not an automated script. We receive only its pass or fail result.
- Server logs: our host records requests to the site, including IP address, browser user agent and timestamp, to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.
- Site measurement: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights record page views and loading performance in aggregate. They are served from this domain, set no cookies, store nothing on your device, and cannot follow you to other sites.
- Nothing else: the site runs no advertising or cross-site tracking, sets no cookies of its own, and serves its fonts from this site rather than from a third party.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your information to answer your enquiry and to take the steps you ask for before any engagement. Under the PDPL this rests on the consent you give with the form; under the GDPR, on Article 6(1)(a) consent and Article 6(1)(b) steps taken at your request before a contract. Keeping the site and the form secure rests on our legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f), as does measuring in aggregate how the site is used and how quickly it loads.
We do not use your information for marketing, we do not sell or share it for anyone else’s purposes, and we do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
Who else handles it
A small number of providers process enquiries on our instructions, under contracts that require them to keep the information confidential and to use it only for the service they provide to us.
- Resend delivers enquiries to our inbox by email.
- Neon hosts the database that holds enquiry records, in its Europe (Frankfurt) region.
- Vercel hosts this website, keeps the server logs described above, and provides its aggregate site measurement.
- Cloudflare provides the Turnstile security check on the form.
Where it is stored, and transfers abroad
QBS is based in the United Arab Emirates, and the providers above run infrastructure outside it, so your information leaves the country when you contact us. Enquiry records are stored inside the European Economic Area, in Neon’s Europe (Frankfurt) region. This website’s server functions run in Vercel’s US East region and Resend delivers email from the United States, so an enquiry passes through the United States on its way to being stored and answered.
The PDPL permits such a transfer where the destination provides adequate protection or where appropriate contractual safeguards are in place; where the GDPR applies, transfers out of the European Economic Area rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you want to know where a particular record is held, ask us.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are deleted automatically 12 months after they reach us. A scheduled job runs every day and removes anything older, so the limit is enforced rather than promised. We apply the same 12-month rule to the copies held in our email inbox.
Server logs are kept for the period set by our host and are not used for anything beyond availability and abuse investigation.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy of it
- correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date
- delete the personal data we hold about you
- restrict or stop how we are processing it
- give you the data you provided in a portable, machine-readable format
- act on your withdrawal of consent, which you may do at any time
How to exercise them
Send your request to info@qbsadvisory.com, or through the contact form, and we will act on it. We may first need to confirm who you are, so that we do not disclose one person’s information to another. Withdrawing consent does not undo what was lawfully done before you withdrew it.
You may also complain to the UAE Data Office. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights under Articles 15 to 21, including the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, enquiries travel to our providers over encrypted connections, and the content of an enquiry is never written to application logs. Access to the enquiry inbox and database is limited to the people at QBS who handle enquiries. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send identification documents, bank details or other sensitive information through this form; it is not built to receive them.
Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us an enquiry, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how enquiries are handled, we update this page and the date below. A material change to why we use your information is explained here rather than made quietly.
