01 / Overview
A closer look
When standard tools no longer fit an important business process, a focused custom application can help. Our technology partner works from your users, workflows, and data needs to define a practical system, whether that is an internal application, an operational dashboard, a client-facing portal, or a mobile app for iOS, Android, or both. Platform choices, requirements, and acceptance criteria are agreed before development.
Who this helps
Businesses with a defined workflow that existing tools cannot handle well, and teams needing a tailored web or mobile interface for customers or staff, such as account access, bookings, field tasks, or service requests.

04 / Process
How the work progresses
Define a useful first release
We identify the essential journeys, platforms, and what success looks like.
Design and build
We review interfaces and implement the scoped workflows and integrations with regular checkpoints and realistic test scenarios.
Validate and hand over
We verify acceptance criteria and agreed devices, prepare deployment or app-store release, and document operational responsibilities.
05 / Scope
Scope & dependencies
Data migration, compliance certification, penetration testing, service-level commitments, backend hosting, and ongoing operation require explicit scope. For mobile apps, platform coverage and device testing are agreed per project, app-store approval and review timelines are controlled by the relevant platform, and developer accounts, store fees, and third-party subscriptions are agreed before work begins. Custom software is not automatically the right choice where an existing product or a responsive website can meet the need.
06 / Questions
Common questions
Should we buy software or build a custom tool?
We start by understanding the gaps. A custom system should solve a meaningful need that existing products cannot address adequately within your constraints.
Do we need an app instead of a mobile-friendly website?
Not always. We first consider whether the required tasks can be served well by a responsive website, or whether a dedicated mobile experience is justified.
Will the app work on both iOS and Android?
It can be scoped for one or both platforms. We confirm platform coverage and implementation approach after reviewing the requirements.
Can clients and staff have different access?
Yes. User roles and access boundaries are requirements to define and test, not details to leave until launch.
Can it connect to our existing systems and data?
Potentially, subject to the source systems, supported APIs, permissions, security requirements, and data quality. These are reviewed during scoping, and backend work is scoped separately where necessary.
Who owns the developer accounts, and is maintenance included?
Account ownership, source delivery, documentation, and access are agreed before work begins, and business-owned accounts should be planned from the outset. Ongoing maintenance, new features, and updates for new operating-system versions are included only when expressly agreed.
